1. 🚫 Disabling anti-viruses and anti-cheats

• Uninstall all third-party antivirus software (e.g., McAfee, Norton, Malwarebytes)

• Open Windows Security → Virus & threat protection

• Disable Real-time protection and Tamper protection

No need to disable Cloud delivered protection or Automatic sample submission

• Download Defender Control and disable Windows Defender (extraction password: sordum)
• Uninstall any anti-cheats that run in the background (Riot Vanguard, FACEIT)

2. 💾 Setting up cheat prerequisites

• Download Visual C++ redistributables and DirectX runtimes
• Download SteelSeries GG and register an account, disable auto-clipping under "Moments"

• Download the Disconnect cheat by entering your license key on the website, if the website doesn't load, connect to a VPN: https://tunnelbear.com or https://windscribe.com

3. 👨🏻‍💻 Injecting the cheat

• Open the Disconnect cheat and register or login to an account

• Activate your license key by entering it at the bottom of the menu

• Go to the Products page and select "Rust External", then select "Inject"

• Select "Ok" on the prompt to restart your computer then reopen the Disconnect cheat after restarting

• Go to the Products page and select "Rust External", then select "Inject"

• Open SteelSeries GG once you receive the prompt to do so

• Highly Recommended: Spoof if you're using a HWID spoofer to protect your main hardware serials from being permanently banned, using a spoofer can also prevent hardware bans if you've already been hardware banned by Rust

• Select "Ok" on the "Injection Successful" prompt and open Rust

4. 🎯 Using the cheat

• Wait 30 - 60 seconds for the cheat to automatically inject, if the menu doesn't appear, enable "Desktop Capture" in SteelSeries GG

Only start "Desktop Capture" if the menu doesn't appear

• Adjust your menu open and close keybind to your liking in the "Settings" section, default keybind is "Insert", if you don't have an "Insert" key you can use "Windows On-Screen Keyboard"

• Enjoy domaining the competition using the Disconnect Rust cheat 😎

⚠️ Troubleshooting

Product Requires System Secure Boot State to be Disabled

1. Follow this YouTube tutorial and enter your computer's BIOS
2. Once in your BIOS, search for "Secure Boot" or "Security Option" and disable it, these options are most commonly found under the "Boot" or "Security" tabs

3. Save changes and exit your BIOS

Product Requires System BIOS Mode Set to UEFI

1. Ensure your storage drive is in GPT format by following this guide
2. Once your storage drive is in GPT format, follow this YouTube tutorial and enter your computer's BIOS
3. Search for "Boot Mode" and switch it to UEFI instead of Legacy, you can find "Boot Mode" under the "Boot" or "Security" tabs

4. Save changes and exit your BIOS

1. Follow this YouTube tutorial and enter your computer's BIOS
2. Once in your BIOS, search for "TPM", "CSM", "Trusted Computing", or "Trusted Platform Module" and disable it, these options are commonly found under the "Boot" or "Security" tabs in your BIOS

3. Save changes and exit your BIOS

4. Boot into Windows and set up a new Windows PIN

ESP visuals lagging in-game

• Limit your FPS by going to Settings -> Screen -> Game FPS Limit

• Lower your in-game resolution by going to Settings -> Screen -> Resolution

• Turn off anti-aliasing by going to Settings -> Image Effects -> Anti-Aliasing

Menu disappearing or not working

1. Verify your Rust/Fortnite game files
